R.I.P.: IPOD
This is the second time in under 2 years my ipod's hard drive has failed. The first time it was still under warranty, so I was able to get it replaced. Now i'm sh*t out of luck. Guess it'll be a good excuse for me to buy one of those new vdo ipods. BUt with my luck, a month after I get it, they'll probably release an all new ipod with internet connection and lasers beams shooting out of it or something.
Spent the last week doing computer training for Osco's new computer system. The new system seems like it has all the new bells and whistles, but I prefer the old one. I'm not into change. Change requires work to keep up. Guess it'll take some time for me to get use to the new system. Until then, i'll be working at a snails pace trying to figure out all the new features. You'll probably see me panicking at night when something goes wrong and I don't know how to resolve it.
Halloween weekend has come and gone. I'm surprised that I actually went out this weekend. I didn't do much for a costume besides wear a robe. Went around telling people I was Hugh Heffner, but I really looked like the Dude from Big Lebowski in my robe. Saw some pretty original costumes at Buzz: the Mario Bros, Captain Crunch, Duff Man. I really wanted to be a zombie this yr but I think the makeup application would be too intensive. Maybe next yr. TIl then, i'll just go in my robe or just bite the bullet and go as a pharmacist. =P
